"Life is made up, not of great sacrifices or duties, but of little things, in which smiles and kindness and small obligations, given habitually, are what win and preserve the heart and secure comfort." - Humphry Davy (1778-1829, Chemist)

5/16/2010 07:25:00 AMDear friends,
“You can think your way in or out any good or bad situation. Action won’t happen unless it is followed by thought. If you found yourself feeling negative in any situation, you can improve it through positive thinking. Success begins with an honest analysis of your present condition, accepting responsibility and developing a plan to achieve what you desire.” – Saiful Zaman Dzulkifly (Hotel student, Blogger, Personal development enthusiast and Hotelier)
Learn from the past....
5/16/2010 06:05:00 AMDear friends,
I have been in
The sad part is I’m having a bit of a trouble in my current front office practical class. Well, not to say I’m in trouble or something. I’m actually struggling a bit to get in touch with my skills in front office. I’ve had about seven and a half years of experience in front office and with the experience I have in the past, should not be a problem for me to do front office practical class. Unfortunately it does give me a problem. It’s a struggle for me. I guess it’s because I quit my job in front office 2 years ago. Should not be an excuse for me but it’s a fact. I regretted quitting my job 2 years ago. I don’t exactly lose touch hundred percent as I still have it in me and now it’s slowly getting back to me bit by bit.
I guess I have to be patient. I gave it a thought one day and it should not stop me from getting what I want. What happened in the past is past. There is no way to change the past. Everything happens for a reason. Things from the past come flooding back so easily in a weird word-association and image-association. I see something or hear something that reminds me of another thing, which takes me to some past especially in negative thoughts. I know one way to fight is to stay present and think of my future. What lies ahead of me is the only the future and nobody knows what will happen in the future. Whatever happens in the future I know I’ll be alright. I will be happy no matter what and will always have friends and families by my side who loves me. I will have more learning experiences like I had in the past and I will also make many good memories or experiences to remember in the future.
You know what? Life is full of hardships, millions of reasons to cry, heaps of things to make us upset even sometimes due to some reasons you get really upset and think all the bad in our life that happened in the past…but don’t forget that it’s life. Why should we suffer due to the things that happened in the past? Past is past and just learn from it.
Well, that’s all for now folks. Need to do a bit of studying now. I have test tomorrow. Wish me luck! J
See ya and stay tune for my upcoming blogs.
