My farewell dinner on January 27th 2010

Labels:
January 27th 2010 was my last night in Malaysia. Left Malaysia for New Zealand on the night of January28th 2010. On the night of January 27th, I had dinner with friends at Souled Out restaurant in Desa Sri Hartamas. Was attended by Anni, Tomo, Eunji, Nicole, Kristin, Mohsen, Prabu, Khairin, A-Jull, Fairudz and Linda.

It was a wonderful dinner. I was happy they came that night. Had a great time spending my last night with them. Unfortunately there few other friends could not make it. They Thila, Yu-Shen, Katia, Terra and Nicholas. Hopefully could meet them once I'm back to KL on holiday.

Before had dinner, we ordered some drinks. To my surprise they bought me a gift and a card. It was so sweet of them. Sadly I did not buy anything for them. They bought a book titled 'Culture Shock in New Zealand' and in the card they signed together with some notes/message.

They wanted me to give a speech but I don't know how. I mean I'm not good at giving speeches plus If I were to give a speech I might end-up crying. Instead A-Jull gave a speech. It was short, simple and nice. Soon after that, we had dinner.

Everyone enjoyed their meals and I had the opportunity to watch/observe them while they were chatting with each other. While observing, I was thinking how lucky I am. Lucky having them as friends. Lucky of having the opportunity having them as friends. Anyway, we had dinner, took some photos and chat the whole night. Later that night, we went for drinks in Changkat and met with Yu-Shen who finally made it.

All in all, the night was great, awesome and fun. Thank you for turning up at the restaurant and for the rest who didn't make it, hopefully to see them one day. I also hope to see all of them one day. It'll be good to see all of them together in one place.

That is it for now.

See ya.
